How anonymous feedback works
What the company can and cannot see when you send anonymously.
Anonymous means the company receiving your feedback is not told who sent it.
| The company sees | The company does not see |
|---|---|
| The category, your description and any attachments. | Your name, email address or profile. |
| That the item was "submitted anonymously". | Your identity in the activity history or audit records. |
| Replies you add, shown as "Anonymous submitter". | Your identity when you reply on your own item. |
Things to keep in mind
- What you write can still identify you. Leave out names, dates or details only you would know if you want to stay anonymous.
- Attachments can carry your name in the file or its properties.
- If you are signed in, Retabled keeps the link between you and the item so that you can find it under Submissions. It is not shown to the company.
- Without an account there is no link to you at all, which is why the reference code cannot be recovered.
